SSDA Data Science Story Speaker Series with Sean Law

SSDA (Social Science College's Social Science Data Analytics Initiative) is excited to announce its SSDA Data Science Story Speaker Series.  Sean Law, Senior Applied Researcher & Data Scientist at TD Ameritrade, who is also the creator of the STUMPY Python Library, joined us on June 12 (Friday), 2020.  Nan Du, Research Scientist at Facebook, who is also a Kaggle Competition Master, will join us in July.  Sushant More, Research Scientist at Amazon will join us in Septebmer.

Sean is an applied research and data scientist currently working with a multi-talented Exploration Lab team (formerly, Advanced Technology) and serves as an advisor on an enterprise A.I. Council at TD Ameritrade.  Sean holds an Honours B.Sc. degree from York University in Applied Mathematics and Biology, received his doctorate from Michigan State University, and worked as a post-doctoral researcher at the University of Michigan.
